AUTOMOTIVE COMMUNICATIONS AWARDS
The Automotive Communications Awards were created by Women in Auto Care. The awards recognize companies and agencies that provide automotive information through outstanding advertising, marketing and public relations efforts. Winners will be recognized at the Women in Auto Care press conference and reception Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017, during AAPEX in Las Vegas, Nev.
Eligibility
Any client, agency or supplier who has produced automotive advertising, marketing, merchandising and/or PR efforts targeted to consumers or the trade are eligible. All entries must be produced and/or implemented between Sept. 1, 2016 and Aug. 31, 2017.

Entry Fees
We are offering discounted pricing for early bird entries received by Aug. 25, 2017. Early bird entry fees are $145 for the initial entry and $95 for each additional entry.
Entries received after Aug. 25, 2017 will be charged $145 for each entry.
Payment
After you submit your entries, you will receive an invoice for payment.
Deadline

AUTO CARE WOMEN OF THE YEAR
Women of the Year Awards Women in Auto Care annually honors deserving women in the industry with three Women of the Year Awards: Auto Care Woman of the Year, Female Shop Owner of the Year and Auto Care Woman of Excellence. Award recipients will be recognized at the Women in Auto Care press conference and reception Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2017, during AAPEX in Las Vegas, Nev.
Eligibility
The awards are available to any female working in the auto care industry. Specific criteria for each award is listed below.
Auto Care Woman of the Year
Has provided significant leadership and contribution to the auto care community throughout her career. These contributions may be cultural, educational, social, economic, political, business or any other areas that impact the lives of people in our industry and community.
Criteria:
- Must have a record of achievement and leadership within the auto care industry
- Must have made extraordinary contributions as a volunteer, over and above her professional responsibilities, that has helped to address a pertinent need, problem or issue, or has made a difference that improves the quality of life for others within the auto care industry and/or community
- Is a woman with vision whom impacts and motivates others to join her cause
- Dedicated to developing and mentoring future female leaders by exercising role model behaviors and career coaching
Female Shop Owner of the Year
Has provided recent outstanding contributions to the auto care industry while demonstrating role model behaviors, leadership and commitment to the advancement of women.
Criteria:
- Must be at least 51 percent owner of her shop
- Must own a shop in the auto care industry – independent repair shop, tire center, heavy duty repair shop
- Must be involved in extracurricular activity within the auto care industry
- Has proven leadership ability and commitment to the advancement of women in the auto care industry
- Dedicated to educating female consumers so they can make informed decisions about the repairs and service of their vehicles
Auto Care Woman of Excellence
Has provided recent outstanding contributions to the auto care industry while demonstrating role model behaviors, leadership and commitment to the advancement of women.
Criteria:
- Must be a 2016 – 2017 associate of the Car Care Council Women’s Board
- Has made recent outstanding contributions to the auto care industry
- Has dedicated herself to progression in the auto care industry
- Has been an influential role model whom encourages excellence
- Has proven leadership ability and commitment to the advancement of women
